Nuala Doherty, appointed Chairperson

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Nuala Doherty to the role of Chairperson of the National Educational Welfare Board (NEWB).

Nuala is currently Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for Effective Services. She previously held the roles of Interim CEO and Director of Educational Welfare Services at the National Educational Welfare Board. Prior to this, Nuala held the position of Director of Services for children and families in the Health Service Executive North East region.
